OMFG!! Dealership fuked up my side skirts [Archive]

I went to the dealership to check the progress on the transmission and I was looking around at my car and I almost passed out when I saw it..... They didn't put blocks on the lift or something and cracked my driverside sideskirt W/ the lift and tore some of the paint off the passanger side skirt. most peeps would be pissed but the situation here is that I now have to wait 3 months to get this fixed because of the availability of Veilside bodyparts. So I'm now going to miss 2 shows including Hot Import Nights...... I gotta get another car.

Yeah, I ordered a replacement front and rear bumper (got into a bit of an accident) and they still aren't here 4 months later. Veilside keeps tellin me they're on the way but I have yet to see the parts.

why don't you get them repaired????

it won't cost as much... go to a reputable shop, and they should be able to repair them!

a lot of the veilside parts are held up at the port due to the possible strike by the long shore men.

its in the papers in LA. it would basically shut down the entire west coast ports. call Veilside, they'll confirm their waitin on it.

haha I meant to say I'm going to get a car I can use as a daily driver and is EZ to fix myself... Then only drive this one to play in.... this way there is less risk to fuk it up..... Cool thing is that they will have to repaint the quarter pannels so I'm gonna mold something in there like hehe mr-s vents. I'm gonna make them pay for the new skirts and throw them on my pile of spare Veilside parts I already have... I got a spare rear bumper in my garage and soon a new front bumper.

ur not the first, my dealer cracked my side skirts, i had get my graphics redone, reglassed, repaint tookt hem like a week for that easy work. lazy ****s

ok well i know that happened to me too but i had a hole in mine and i just got it fixed... and i can't even tell they did a pretty good job where i got mine done at

3rd Gear was grinding while shifting into it so they yanked it out to repair. While they have it down I slipped them my TRD LSD, TRD Jap Clutch/Pressureplate, and TRD Flywheel. Instead of paying $1200 to install it's only costing me like $200 for the little extra work to swap this **** out while the tranny is cracked open. hehe... I got a deal on the full Tranny package too.

The HRE's are still being made.... I should have in like 2 weeks... I upgraded to the 547 model from the 447 coz it has a better shape

i think a bodyshop would have a hard time doing that mod .... dont ya think ? .. wouldnt it snap at the thinnist part if he hits a pothole on the road err somthin?

Damn That looks good. I might do porsche vents or other vents ... Could you try Photoshopping MR-S vents on the sides?

I suggest NSX style with some flare. Have a lip run along the side of the car to bring all teh lines of the car together without having to do heavy modding to the doors.

If I was gonna do this again, I was gonna make more than just vent changes...

The dealership already knows that it happened and the service manager and my writer are all being cool to me about it.... the last dealership that used a lift and scrapped paint off my skirts pretty much told me to fuk off. These guys are paying for new skirts coz you have to get them in pairs, and the paint. I gotta check W/ my body shop tho on the details when I get the car back from the tranny mod.... If they have to paint the quarters I'm going to install vents. hehe they will be pissed next time they see my **** W/ the vents.... I might even shave the fuel lid and put it behind the taillight.
