Looking for some pics on engine dress up.. I have a silver gts with black accents.. Looking to start powder coating some engine components. Any ideas of color? would you think red looks good with my car colors?

Anyone have a valve cover that they are willing to to get to me to painted in red with a clear coat? I want to see what it looks like finished in red. i wont charge anything but shipping for the first person willing to experiment with me.

Thanks man. BTW my valve cover is powdercoated candy red and not painted. I am sure you could paint the valve cover and make it look nice though.

My bad what I want to do is powdercoat someones valve cover in red not wet paint..
and add a clear coat. I run a powder coat line at work here.

heres mine. all was done in candy red. i have an extra valve cover, intake manifold and crank case vent tube if interested.

why not just powdercoat your valve cover at work? If you don't like it you can always redo it.

Its actually more work and too much bead blasting involved to remove.. I painted some springs today with the red and didnt look to bad actually but my rep is trying to get me some candy red. http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Horty24/spring2.jpg

well I bent all exhaust valves so that will give me a chance to get everything coated in candy blue.
