OK, since 56k sux and there's no way I'm gonna wait for those movies to download, does someone wanna tell me what happens in them? :)

basically, a bunch of rsx's cruising the streets, racing in parking lots, and what looks like a meet. at one point they got bust'd for parking somewhere they werent supposed to. they all got tickets, and 1 rsx was total'd. most of the video seem'd to repeat over and over. but it was kinda cool...

one scene was a rsx drag racing on the track, but they cut it off before the number would have come up... wondering if he/she got a bad time:chuckles: ?

If y'all have VHS that you want dumped off to MPEG or AVI I have the hardware to do it. Won't cost ya anything but you'll have to mail me the videos. I can make a compilation / music video out of it too if we have enough good footage, but that takes some time and a LOT of footage to make it work right. Plus you have to pick a pretty short song or cut a longer song short. Anything over 2 2 1/2 minutes gets booring.

After watching those, I think people need to find more things to do. It's all too immature to me, little packs of RSX's driving around like a motorcycle gang or something. And the drive weaving through traffic in the first video SICKENS me. It's drivers like that that will kill themselves or my kids one day....

I was there during the filming of these vids...my GF is in tristate....i've hung out with those guys many times....Team Split Second better be putting together some nice vids like they do.

Can someone PLEASE tell me why the hell it always has to be techno to these videos...

even when someone makes a video here. I miss the days when it was cool to jam out to something that is actually good MUSIC.

I thought they were pretty cool vids. Just a bunch of enthusiasts out having fun. But I have to agree with CelicaDetective, the weaving through traffic was a little too much. There are tracks EVERYWHERE these days...use 'em!

I suppose none of you guys noticed the fact they fast forward almost all of the highway footage and some of the other "pack" footage of all the cars going around that median in the parkin lot.
I guess it was to make the cars "look fast"...hehe sound familiar

Good lord... I just sat through all 12 minutes of that thing thinking the whole time that its gonna have to get good sometime... YUK... the music sucked and the video was lame, and whats even worse, the CARS... lets just say RSX don't do "it" for me :) I mean come on... there are some MUCH better songs to do car videos to... (steppenwolf comes to mind, maybe Eve 6, maybe Cake... hell there are tons :) ) - would be hard to do much worse. I'll say this for em tho, they had a decent camera and cameraman.

i wish i had the video footage from the first Baltimore meet I hosted like 2 years ago.. we had a fun ride down and a agreat time in Baltimore.. I woulda loved to had made a movie from that.. im sure most of the people that were at that meet arent even on here anymore

Yeah, that music was some of the lamest TECHNO I've ever heard! Seriously, someone could make an AWESOME movie to "He's going the distance" by Cake. Good footage and a good editor could make a really exciting video.

Most likely.

I've noticed from the RSX boards they seem to take 1/4 mile times very seriously. Plus it gives them more ammo when arguing about how much "faster" their Type-S is than a GT-S :rolleyes:
