Not the Celica, but when I was restoring a 1979 Toyota Crown I drove it around with no windshield and a bare interior, just a paint bucket to sit on. :chuckles:

my friend drives her turbo capri without the passenger seat most of the time, it helps get rid of the horrible blind spot and gives her room to set her bags/boxes of school work (teacher).

i drove around for a week with nothing but a driver seat and a window switch. fyi: you'll have no turn signals, lights, horn, ac, etc. but you will have brake lights. i plugged in my gauges for the last few days. just drive safe and hopefully you don't get pulled over.
