I got my self Stage 1 (stock wattage) Nokya Arctic White 7000K. Installed them yesterday and test drove last night. in the garage they're white with a hint of blue and looked great. but on the road... it felt like you have a dark tint film in your windshield. they're dark and not enough brightness.
i don't wanna go high wattage because i don't wanna melt my harness... any other bulbs worth trying (aside from going HIDs)?
haven't tried cosmic white, titanium white though.
You are totally wasting your money.
Instead of burning at a 7000 Kelvin rating, all those bulbs are doing is shining at the color of 7000k.
For the price of another set of ricer bulbs, you could buy an HID kit from VVME or DDM.
That "dark tint film" sight is because of the ricer blue tint they put on the bulb, which actually cuts the brightness and adds color.
When it comes time for rain, those ricer blue bulbs won't light up squat.

You get what you paid for. Wanna skim costs and pay $11 for ricer blue bulbs?
See:
it felt like you have a dark tint film in your windshield. they're dark and not enough brightness.

the brightest non-hid bulbs I've every had on my car were the sylvania silverstars...there a hell of alot brighter then the nokya's. I had the exact same pair in the past. The blue hint looks cool but there noticably dimmer then stock.

wow thats dull. When I finally got my HID's, I turned them on and thought to myself "I should have done this sooner"
HID's should be everyone's first mod. they make the WORLD of difference... and its worth it!!

nokya's suck balls! if youre going to stay with halogen i suggest piaa or plasmaglow. both have bulbs in the 100w range but there not cheap lol. just get a HID kit from DDM for $78 shipped and your golden!

+1 on the DDM kit for $78 shipped. I paid more than that for PIAA headlight bulbs back in the day before I realized how dumb I was for paying that much for bulbs. Now I have and will always have HIDs on both of my cars.

I wont lie, the bulbs LOOK nice in the housing, but HIDs are the better investment hands down. The lighting outdoors is embarressing. With so many people recomending HIDs, I say go for it, Im very positive you wouldnt be disapointed.
