:D I finally got my new baby today... a 2002 5 speed yellow Celica GT.
When I arrived at the dealership this morning and saw her standing there, seductively parked in front of the garage, waiting for me, she looks so sweet and inviting. We just spent the rest of the day trying to know more about each other... And man we had a great time.
Now I can say I understand you all and share the enthusiasm you're showing when you talk about your Celi.
We'll certainly share more thoughts and experiences in the near future.
See ya around!!!

Sweet, I have a yellow gt also. I suggest getting a tint job right away. Even a light tint on a bright yellow car looks dark do to the colors clashing.

Oh yes Gumber, I'll definitely get a tint job as soon as possible. I bet it looks fantastic on a yellow car. Got any pic of your car?
You're right Cftofu, yellow is only available in Canada.
Thanks Spec GTS. As for my pics, well I took some nice ones last weekend, but I managed to screw the film for some unknown reason. I'll take some new ones real soon.
I'm glad you liked the story Celica_Chick... Thank you!

You can get it done at pretty much any shop that does vinyl stickering on cars. Basically its a thick piece of clear vinyl that stops stone chips (absorbs impact). I haven't had a stone chip since i put it on, and it doesn't look like sh*t unlike most bras. The other benifiet is that it won't damage your car like a real bra does (rubs away at the paint etc). For the celica's they want to use a wider piece do to the hood shape. Don't get the smaller one it won't cover enough, see my prev pics. It ran me 60 bucks candian and took like 10 minutes for them to put on right.

Hey Gumber, your car looks really sweet with the tint. What percentage is it?
And the 3M bra seems like a great idea too. Indeed it protects the hood without altering the look of the car. I've never seen one like that before. I might consider it as well.

I'm not sure what percentage of tint it is. When I bought it I ordered it done from the dealership. I told them "make it look good" and they took care of it. I'll have to ask them.
