Hi

when ever I turn the steering wheel to the right I hear a squeaking sound, turning left is ok. This usually happens in the morning or when the car is cold.

Anyone know what could be causing the squeak?

Thanks,
glennica

probably the belt, I suggest a goodyear gatorback.

Well the sound is coming from the steering wheel itself and not from outside the car

Probably some loose plastic or something that makes contact when you turn the wheel.

Check the boot at the floorboard/firewall that protects the steering column.

i have the same problem i can't figure it out. Is your squeak a high pitched squeak that gets faster the faster you drive? and does it only squeak when you are going forward? oh and mine is definitely is comming from outside.

if this sounds like your problem please let me know if you figure it out
