anyone know of a company making a good performance chip for the GTS?? I'd ideally like to get something that TRD puts out, but i just want to get as much as i can out of the stock engine before i have to go and get a turbo system....thanks

Try the power fc. Not a chip, those don't work for our cars. It's a complete stand-alone ECU.

How easy is the power fc to set up? What sort of performance gains does it give throughout the rev range?

the pfc is a plug n play standalone unit. there is lots of info in the ecu tuning forum. monkeywrenchracing.com has a pre-programmed map available for the gt and gt-s.

so its a case of plugging it in and you're away? exactly how much programming does it take to get the optimum out of it though? is it compatible with ALL 7th gen celicas?

you can switch back to the stock ecu if you have to go for emissions/dealer. Invest some time and do some research. There is tons of info here on it.
