This applies to a previous thread from my husband regarding lemoning my celica. My question is, has anyone actually done this? The reason is that I just got my form yesterday and I have to write in how I would like this problem resolved. If I say replace the car and the arbitrator doesn't think my problems are serious enough then I walk out with nothing.

I've had several problems with the car, some have been fixed, some haven't. So does anyone have suggestions of what to ask for? Or a site to look at that shows cases that have won before?

Thanks for your help. Hope I was specific enough.

The thing is, I don't want a new Celica. I'm just sick and tired of paying on this POS. If I got a new car I would want something else. I think they had some major problems when the redesigned the celica.

I have, just write what you want. If you want a partial refund, write that. If you want a replacement, chances are good that toyota will furnish you with the exact same model and trim of car.

Thanks, I guess I just don't want to ask for anything too big and have them tell me no. Did you win your case? What did you ask for and what type of damages or problems were you having with your Celica? Sorry for so many questions.

Yeah, I won. I asked for a replacement car because I had bought my previous car used and a refund minus mileage would have been a much bigger hit than replacement minus mileage. Either way they made me pay a mileage/usage fee. I had contstant check engine lights and they had replaced everything (ecu, injectors, engine, wiring, hoses, transmission and clutch (??), etc.) to try and fix it, but to no avail. You cant ask for anything more than repair or replacement without taking them to court because arbitration will not get you any extra settlement. Let me know if you have more questions.
