I knew they were the Supra clears as soon as I saw them cuz I'm old school. ;) When the Celica first came out, we didn't have any clears for our cars, and then someone pointed out that the Supra's fit, so a bunch of peeps went out and picked those up and they were the shizzy. This was like two years ago. Where's Larry when we need a flashback of memories to when I started my run for 6000 posts?

JDM Celica's have the best IMO. Shaped well and tinted amber.

I'm pretty sure they do. Just have to make sure it the 97- 98 year. I wanted the amber one, but it would cost me more to buy that, than the clear one. But anyway, I think the clear looks better on my silver celica.

That's true. Also the celica JDM markers are flater than the supra model. But I went ahead with the supra style to give it a different look.

Hehe, I remember, think that was back in 1999 when I was getting the celica soon and checking on this newsgroup...then after that someone here custom make the factory amber lense to clear...and after a while the clear lens for our car finally came out.

They took the same stuff that covers fluorescent ceiling lights, cut out pieces in the shape of the stock lens, and glued them onto stock lens housings that they removed the amber lens from.

Well it can be fitted on the side of bumper, but instead of what I did, it what Jotan did on the bottom of the front bumper. It looks pretty good.

its not illegal to have red in front, its illegal to have it in relfect or light up in red. if it doesn't reflect, and outputs an orange light..its ok

banana ryce it is illegal. having red or blue lights on the side or front of your car is against many laws and can put you in jail for 5 years or a $5000 dollar fine or something of that sort, my friend's friend said he got pulled over for having side marker reds and the cop told him its illegal because it imitates an EMERGENCY VEHICLE which is a felony but let him off cuz its really no big deal
