Is it mechanical or electrical? 2 completely different ways of hooking them up.

im guessing elctrical since it has wires

you're gonna need a sandwhich plate and maybe some extra wire. You might also need a sending unit.

Both electrical and mechanical will have wires. See if it has a small port on the back like a hose would hook up to. Electrical will just have regular connections on back for wires.

Mechanical. Either way, you'll need a sandwich adapter like 2 posts up. You plug the sender from the gauge in there, then run a line (preferably stainless steel braided covered in vinyl where necessary) to where the gauge is mounted. 2 wires on bottom are for the bulb inside.

where could i get the stuff for it

Get the sandwich adapter off of eBay. Your gauge and sender should use a 1/8" NPT fitting. Make sure to confirm before buying anything else. You'll need to measure how long the braided hose will need to be, going from the oil filter location to where you're mounting the gauge (usually on the driver side A pillar using a gauge pod). Once you have that info, you'll know how long you need the braided hose to be. You can get it for a decent price at SummitRacing.com.

Once you get the hose, measure the outside diameter and get some matching vinyl tubing from Home Depot (usually clear, and very cheap). Slit it down the side and wrap it around the braided hose. Left uncovered, braided hose is like a saw blade, and vibrations will make it cut through rigid objects it leans against, like plastic and metal. You don't have to cover all of it, but in the areas that it runs through the firewall, and any other places it is near something (especially behind the A pillar), you'll want to use the tubing. Not 100% positive, but you may also need to use Teflon tape to seal the threads on all connections. Also cheap at Home Depot.

Finally, poke a hole through one of the large grommets in the firewall (the closer to the driver side, the better) and pass the hose through and up the A pillar to meet the gauge. Once it's all set up, make sure to test for leaks before driving off.

Nah, it's really not hard. Just takes a bit of planning and measuring before you jump in. Hardest part will be running the hose through the firewall.

Though if you want to make it a bit easier and safer, you can return that gauge and get the electrical version. That will only require running wires through the firewall, though you'll still need braided hose. Instead of having the pressure measuring mechanical part inside the gauge, it'll be on the sender, and it'll make the sender heavy. So heavy that it will snap off if directly mounted to the sandwich adapter due to vibrations. You just need to use braided hose and mount the sender to the engine instead.
