TRD Celica

Well I was driving past the Toyota dealership this afternoon where i got my car and I saw a beautiful :bowdown: Silver 2k2 Celica GTS with the Action Package and TRD everything! Exhaust, chrome 18" rims, 6 speed, looked dropped too (but cloth interior :( ). All done up.... The price wasnt on the car with all the TRD parts on it, so I checked their website and I see that they want $28,973. Now does that sound like too much?? I loved how that car looked and Im sure it sounded even better! But i have to go back there ne ways to bitch about my 4th gear synchro so maybe they'll let me take 'er out for a spin.

Do you think that $28,973 is too much for a TRD Celica GT-S???

Is it overpriced? Yes. Very...very...yes.

For $28k you could get a new WRX with mods, used C5 LS1 Corvette, a Celica GT with West Covine Turbo, a GTS with Blitz Supercharge (not counting install or if it's out yet), the new Nissan Z base model, or a really good hunk of the price of the Lancer out of the way...


Not worth the money. But that is just my opinion.

when i saw it by my dealer about a year and half ago....it was $39000+..........then i was thinking to myself....only a jerkoff would pay that kinda money for that.......

Pretty much anything at a dealership is going to be overpriced.

yeah dealerships will A$$Rape you... was at honda last week visiting a friend that works there and they had a CivicSi and somehow got ahold of CTR wheels, the gunmetal 17" 7 spokes... well it was a 4200.00 option...crazy i tell ya! thats some veilside andrew racign wheels there or some HRE or kensis..Fiske or somethign top notch

neither is availalbe and is, to date, a myth...

but you can definately have a 12 sec WRX for 28k+

WW kit+paint=$700
18"rims/tires=$2000 MAX
Springs=$300installed MAX
Wing+Paint(Trd, RMM, ETC)=$500
TRD Exhaust=%500

So your talking $27,000 total if you did it yourself and they're asking 29k+ interest, so yeah, theyre strokin you for like 4g's

:werd: They mark up the price because some people out there have no idea what the price of aftermarket parts cost. Especially TRD parts, which you can only get a good idea as far as price goes if you get their catalog.
