To have good launch... you really need to "slip" the clutch....
To get a good launch.. people usually say... slip the clutch at 4-5K rpm...
That'll give you good take off... with some spins...
When you lauch at like 3k... and dumping the clutch.... it's either spin and wheel hop.. I use to get lots of wheel hop when I didn't know that well on slip lauch...
When you slip.. the rpm keeps on climbing while your wheel spins and starts to get grip... and stays on higher rpm.. where we have more power....
If you don't lauch at high rpm... it's gona have so much lag at first..

im not too sure what u mean by slipping it... , do u mean let the clutch off a little and as ur RPM rises higher too 5k let the clutch out then floor?
Let the clutch out as fast as you can without over spinning the tires. This requires a controlled release of the clutch pedal, and people call it 'slipping' the clutch because the clutch will slip moreso then when you just DUMP it. DUMPing will no doubt spin the hell out of the tires, and/or bog the engine down. Both are not good.
If you're dropping the clutch at 3K then I would think you're actually flooring it BEFORE you dump. If you did dump at 3K then you would get a little spin, and a lot of bog, even with it floored.
I think you're either dumping higher, or slipping the clutch.
Try launching at different RPM (HIGHER!!). Definitely avoid trying for a good launch at 2500!

Every launch technique is different for different types of mods... stock?=slip at 3k, intake/exhaust?=slip at 4-5k, adjustable shocks (Tiens, Apex-i) put on hardest setting, dump at 4k...look at my mods below...LSD.....I dump it at 5k, sometimes a little higher...she shoots out like a rocket.....it all depends.
