I have mine in the garage, taking up space. Sway bars, springs, intake, exhaust, clutch/flywheel, hood scoop etc. If I get a body kit, I cant even imagine what to do with my stock pieces. What do you guys do with your parts, especially those with body kits? trash them? I cant help but feeling I might need them some day so I dont trash them...hmm...

Some people I know.. keeps all the stuff.. some sells it on the forum...
If you keep it.... just incase if something breaks.. you can just put the stock on back on for short time....

I keep everything in a box in my crawlspace. I can make my car stock whenever I want. If I sold the car, I'd return it to stock and sell all my mods. When you sell a modded car, you lose all the money from the mods.

I have been trying to sell my stock parts. I have sold some but still have the big stuff left. They are just sitting in the basement collecting dust.

i'm keeping mine.. when i get ready to sell my car, the stock parts are going back on and im selling the mods..
your not gonna get the money back for the mods you have on your car if you keep them on there, so why not sell them!!!
hopefully next year i'll have my other car =)

I put mustard on it and I eat the f'in sh!t!!! lol - from the Jerky Boys.
KEEP IT. I had the return my Saturn to stock for warranty work on the engine. I sold the exhaust but I still kept the older header ... I had to pay out the A** for a new exhaust and get it welded onto the old header.

I figured they weren't worth much, plus I trade cars in all the time, and you pretty much have to put them back to stock before trading them in, so I keep them. Much easier to just put the stuff back on instead of fumbling to find stock parts on here.
I kept all that stuff in my basement. And coincidentally, I still have a stock antenna, butterfly valve, set of springs, and a wire grill for mine. And I haven't owned a Celica in almost 9 months. ;)

i keep all of my stock parts in a closet in my apartment. it's where the washer and dryer option would have gone but i deemed against it so i can place all of my parts. i have the whole wall lined with cardboard so that it doesn't leave any grease marks or scratches on it. i dunno how i would arrange all of my car's body parts if i got a body kit + CF hood :P my tires sit stack high!

I'm keeping mine. You never know when you'll need them again, but they are taking up space.

I keep all my stock parts. My brother made a mistake of throwing his stock parts off his car away, and now he is haivng trouble finding stock parts to change his car back to stock form. Just keep all your parts man, how much room can they possibly take up?
Keeping stuff like that in the garage is kinda risky if someone breaks in, unless you're in a nice neighborhood.. I would pay some money to put it in a storage garage..you get insurance if they lose it.

And you don't get insurance money if they steal it from your own house? What kind of insurance do you have?

I'll have to check this one, but I assume since it ain't on your car and is replaced by an aftermarket part it's not covered.

I've kept all of my stock parts, I was gonna make a table out of my stock rims, and I plan on makin' a lamp outta my stock exhaust.

If you have parts in your house, whether or not they were replaced onto te car, if your house gets broken into your homeowners insurance covers that theft. your Car insurance wont cover it b/c they're not on the car but the homeowners will.
That's right PaCelicaGTS, I ment the car isnurance won't cover it if it's not on your car. I guess it's tough luck for us who rent and don't have homeowner's insurance
