Smoked Tail Lights

hey, i was just wondering if they make smoked tail lights for the 2002 celicas. alot of peeps make their tail lights all red, but i dont think that looks that good on a spectra blue car. it looks great on black cars, and mad hot on red cars, but not that great on spectra blue. if they make smoked ones, can someone please post some pics and give me some info on them like price and stuff. thanks

they used to have tinted headlamps as an option for the celica from TRD but they d/C it for lack of sales.

bat... i dont see the smoke in the tail lights? they just look red. i dunno if u know of anything like i am lookin for, but i am lookin for like a clear smoked lens. sumptin like that, not really like altezza, because that is mad rice, but maybe the same type but smoked. i dunno, i am still thinkin and need pics to see if thats what i really want or not. but i think it would look good.

Look in the Kit Gallery. There's a carbon blue with my smoke kit on it. He's a member of this board, his screen name is "CoolWheels". If that's not what yer lookin' for, best of luck finding what you want.

used model tint spray, the one with the checkered flag on the front... testors comes out grayish and not smoked

Man, I would really like to do that, especially the fronts, but I am paranoid about the ticket and am certain that you can't reverse this once it's done. But dayhum man it looks good!

is it illegal to have inted head/tail lights? so many people around here have covers and ish...

It's illiegal in Va. if it isn't OEM.

yoo man do it the right way and never use any vinyl or stick on stuff..go to a reputable shop and take your tails to them and ask them if they can make your tsails tiunteds...my sponsor dd it to my tails they look great....all he did was scuff thema nd tint the clear coat and cleared right over my tails....it came out perfecxt and extra shiny....idk if any oither shops can do this but it was an experiment from dupont tat they used my car as the tester...he also painted my headlights instad of me buying the trd cover..the paint looks verys moothe and classy...no bumps or anything..also dont worry if they scuff your sails becasue the clear fills in the little scuff marks and makes it smoothe if the shop knows what they are doing... here is a link to my pics of my headlights and car..at the time of the pics i didnt have my tails tinted yet..sorry no pics of that...check out my headlights though..oh yeah no offense to your products bat...

A cop pulls you over for having your taillights tinted. To his surprise, as he is writing you a ticket you walk back and peel my kit off yer car:D! Then reply,"My taillights ain't tinted":chuckles:
