When I bought my car --- I got it in Pennsylvania (no front tag required). I live in New Jersey where there is a front tag required. I had the kit about 3 days after I got the car, and I still had the temp tags. There was a bracket in the trunk specially made to form to the front bumper, and I had it painted the same color as the car and I installed it right to the Kaminari front bumper (since the lines are the same as stock in the liscense plate area). It looks fine and the plate is not going anywhere. Check your toyota dealer and try and get the right bracket that mounts to the stock bumper (NOT THE METAL DEAL) --- The plastic underframe. Peace

The license plates is to big to fit in between the mouth of the front bumber. so i wouldn't be able to put it on the grills.

Hey, a bumper is a bumper --- if you do it right, and you get the correct underframe and get it painted to match the color of the car , then the drill holes will be unable to be seen ---- the frame fits perfectly flush and makes it look kind of factory --- I didn't drill 2 holes and just strap my plate right on the front bumper --- I took my time and did it the correct way, and if anyone else does the same, they will be satisfied --- They will also save the money of a $42 ticket about twice a month. (According to the police in your neighborhood --- the cops in mine live for pulling kids over for anything they can find) --- If i didn't put a plate on the front of my car, then I would probably get abuot 2 tickets a week --- and I only drive about 80 miles a week. That's a pretty steep price to pay for not drilling two small unseen holes in your bumper.

Unless you have weird sized plates they wont fit... Standard DMV issue plates should fit with no problem... You should have about a quarter inch gap from the top of your plate and same goes for the bottom...
