alright, my syncros are going out on me....i know there are many threads about this topic, but my question is diferrent.....i know that our car has a 60000mile warranty on the transmission.....so with that, i jus wanna know if the syncros and/or clutch is part of the transmission warranty deal....i mean my reverse syncro is going out on me, now that is outrageous.....i understand 2,3,4 gears going out from getting slammed into gear alot, but not the reverse gear....

I can't believe the reverse syncro is failing! There isn't one, it's pretty amazing that it could fail.

No, the clutch is considered a wear item and isn't covered under warranty (the reverse synchro isn't even considered an item, so it isn't covered either).

You may get a grind going into reverse on occasion.
Try letting the clutch out in neutral at idle rpm's for a second before smoothly putting it into reverse.

ahhhh....i see...guess that wont be a problem anymore then....but i wonder y my reverse is getting so hard to get in to then....i do try the neutral thing and most of the times it helps out a lot but still on occasions my reverse is jus a b!tch to get into.....
