Auto GT Owners...are u hooked up?

Yes, we're the wimpy kid brothers. The ridiculed, the teased, the ones that are laughed at with any mention of modifying our cars. :chuckles:
But have any of you gone through with it anyway? I was just curious if there was anyone who successfully hooked up their auto GT so I can have braggin rights next time a manual owner (of any car) laughs at me for wanting to improve my performance....and for all the smart @sses i don't mean tranny switching or selling the car, and telling me it'll never be fast cause it's a 4 cyl auto is redundant :nono:

Short of nitrous or a turbo, you're pretty much SOL. Even then, the extra power will significantly shorten the life of your transmission. A 4 cyl engine and an automatic transmission does not a performance package make...

I was never about getting extra go. I got the simple things like TRD exhaust, Injen CAI. I was always into the look and making it look badazz then engine parts. People dont see under the hood but people do see the body.

im with personafied, i wanted looks not go... someday down the road when i have some money ill do the basics, but will never spend alot on performance

as far as performance, xanatos turbo'd his and switched out his tranny..

i've been meaning to fix up the a/t GT but no money..... i would go all show: body kit, rims, drop.....

but i dont know how long im going to keep the car; i may trade in for a g35 coupe somewhere down the line.... so im probably gonna keep my car the way it is now, cept maybe for bat's vinyl....

whatever you do, its your car. i've seen some crazy fixed up gt autos...... i think theres a red unison car which is a gt auto.... the guy enters it in shows i think....

SilverGlow, yes we will get fun of, but I am happy with basic mods like exhaust and intake, basically like Personafied said, I mostly want my car to look good. But if I could afford a turbo, I would do it :chuckles:

my parents just got me my auto gt last saturday and i love it to death! i just wish it was a manual though! anyways im thinking about just adding the basics rims, a nice system, tinted windows, and a nice simple body kit, nothing more aggressive than a trd mechanical one, hehehe..hey what can i say im simple! i dont think ill add a filter and exhaust because it sounds kinds funny to me mabey a nice k&N drop in! hehe

you'ld be surprised how many hooked up auto gt's are out there....most are more appearance than performance though

I don't have an auto but I do have a gt. I'am also going for more style points they go farther to me. Cheer up bros. we still can handle good as hell & remember the majic word---Hotchkis!
Just dip on the a$$holes in the curves, a good turbo or supercharger kit will show up some day.

I have an automatic GT and I like it, and other people like it as well (especially girls :chuckles:). Anyways, by the time I get done with my car and get it to where I want it, I am going to have some light performance mods and a lot of appearance mods. In fact, my body kit is being shipped right now. And down the line, I might even look into doing some nitrous.

i got an auto gt with a trd body kit. i am going for some chrome rims and carbon fiber tailights next. i got this car only cuz my parents got it for me, if i had my own money, i would have gotten a gt-s 6spd. but to me, i rather have looks then speed. i rather have people turning their heads when i drive,or girls looking at my car then to have speed.

My car can be found there. Now I am all show with the exception of TRD exhaust and Injen CAI. Working on a deal to get an upgraded torque converter and a ATF cooler. Would like to get David Drapers turbo kit. Some poeple say I am crazyfor doing this to an auto,but I have fun.

I have 17" Team Dynamics rims, toyo tires & a TRD exhaust on the way for my 2001 Black Celi GT Auto.....a future Blitz body kit is coming up, neons, and more as soon as the next few paychecks come through.....I wouldn't trade my auto in for a m/t under NE circumstances, if I wanted a fast car, I would've bought a Camaro or some sh*t!! I would love to get a supercharger whenever a good one is made. Ohhh yeah and f*ck every dumbass that says drive ur auto off a cliff

im building my car up slowly (lack of money :P) but i did all the performance mods first, i/e, then i did some painting inside and hoodscoop, clear corners, you know, the basics. now i just need to save up for some rims, springs, and a bodykit.
