I need to see if the 03 radio I just got for my GTS is defective.
I have read the online BGB on the diagnostic codes, but they are for the 02 celica.
The Radio works flawlessly. The CD player accepts the CD, sits there and says LOADING for 15-20 seconds then spits out the CD.
It does this on any CD, even my MINT only played 1 or 2 times discs that I bought and backed up to MP3.
Going into into the diagnostic mode, I see the following:
P190
GOOD
N029
I THINK the P190 corestonds to the H190 infor for the radio/tuner, and the next step says it's "GOOD" I don't know what the NO29 stands for as it's not in the book (at least for an 02)
I need to contact the seller, I was reaqlly happy to get the radio, but it does me no good without the CD player. (I can actually live without the Tape player, and haven't tested it yet.)
I thought maybe its got condensation or something, but after several hours and driving with the AC on, I would not think it is the case.
ANy input, ideas would be greatly helpful...
I want to give him all the benifit of the doubt, maybe theres a way to "reset" it or something. I have pulled the fuse in an attanpt to rest the radio. I will go back to the car in the moring to see if it made any difference.
