Most front strut bars sit in front of the resivoir, not on top of it.
They also bolt to all 3 strut bolts, not just 2 of them.
Are you sue the bar you have is made for your car?

Why don't you buy a bar that fits your car instead of hacking up one that doesn't?

Turn the bar around so the longer mount points are at the back of the strut towers instead of the front.

you can't lower the res. without lowering the clutch sorry its not gonna work. you may be able to find a different brake master cylinder off of another car that is smaller but your gonna spend alot of money making it work. to be honest its not worth the work

a machinist with a VMM can notch the bar and then you can form a bit of metal plate to fill the hole and weld it back on. voila! could probably make the notch with a hole saw and a drill press too...

Cut it at the welds, 180 the bar and reweld it. Skadouche, RHD gone LHD.

its temporary before i think of something less rice tuned :gap: ill test it tomorrow .. anyone got something against it ? should work huh:confused:
:chuckles:
If brake fluid can eat through paint, I wonder how long that cover will last.

That is exactly what I was thinking. IMO for what the front bar does it is not worth the trouble of modding anything to make it fit.

good now i know something new ,
i took white plastic cover from orginal cap put it on there then used plastic cover you think it will melt ?
anyway thanks ill be watching for any holes in my ricey cover :gap: got to think about cutting round rubber and then cover it that would be sufficient
take that RHD BAR:bang:
i took white plastic cover from orginal cap put it on there then used plastic cover you think it will melt ? Probably not. However, if it does happen to seep out, you're going to have a mess and no brake pressure.

That strut bar will not igve you nearly the performance gain that you are looking for. Not worth what you are doing with the brake fluid res.
