Post what cars you had from your first to what you got now. (pics don't have to be your own) And how old you were roughly when you had them.
1) 1985 Jeep Cherokee 2.8L V6 16-17 years old

1. 1982 Saab 900 Turbo
2. 1973 Porsche 911T Targa
3. 1990 Nissan Pathfinder (2wd even, posermobile)
4. 1984 BMW 325e
5. 2003 Celica GT (newest and lowest mileage car I've had, the BMW had hte lowest mileage before that at 105k when I got it. Previous to that all my cars had 140k+ miles. The celica is a frikkin new car compared to my other cars)
Now in order of favorites.
1. Porsche 911 (do I really need to say it, it obviously was the best of all these cars)
2. Celica
3. BMW
4. Saab
5. Pathfinder (I mean it was a 2wd posermobile that really wasn't good for anything cept reliable transport. But it got worse gas mileage than a Jeep Cherokee that had a bigger engine and 4wd, wasn't that big for space, and wasn't even 4wd. Car lasted me a year before I sold it. I originally bought it as a second car to the Porsche as the Porsche was getting old enough that it would be nice to have a more reliable car when it was broken. But then I moved out of state without a job and dad convinced me I couldn't afford an old Porsche with no job so it got sold).

As for the next one, strongly considering a Mini Cooper S. Though not seriously considering one until I lose this 120 mile daily commute(that would chew through new car warranty) when I have a reliable car getting 40mpg.

How about a used one? It would cost $9.0 x 10^7 less than a new one.
Sorry, I'm doing some physics homework and scientific notation is stuck in my head. :chuckles:

Well they are German/British cars... ;) Plus they are number 1 in resale value so you're not saving that much.
Current S model has an oil starvation problem(bad rattle on cold startup) I'm watching on their forums. Want to see that gets fixed.

Man, that really is the middle of nowhere, even for Ohio. All I can say is I've driven by it on the way up to Toronto on a road trip...
Oh and that it occasionally shows up in the news when tornados go through up there. Get a place with a basement.
But:
According to our research of the Ohio and other state lists there were 108 registered sex offenders living in Lima in May 2009. The ratio of number of residents in Lima to the number of sex offenders is 350 to 1.So, maybe you'll fit in.

If I get a picture of our future celica with old pepper head in it would it be an epic win on this site?
And as to the comments about Lima... **** **** **** **** Ft. Drum is pretty damn boring. The only reason we are moving there is because my wife use to show dogs professionally and she wanted to get back into it and I really liked what I saw for the UNOH technologies automotive program. I figured I would take a break from all the deployments/Army crap and go to school for a bit and let the wife work for awhile at something she likes to do.
Is there ANYTHING to do there? Or will I be making regular trips to Columbus? Which I love that city btw.

Don't know, it's just an exit off 75 to me. I'm about the same distance from Columbus and Cincy and we find much more to do in Cincy/Newport. You could probably actually get to Cincy faster too since it's a straight shot down 75 rather than the state routes and such to get over to columbus.

Nah Cinci was what and hour and a half almost from Columbus? And I know the back road up to Lima pretty good. I've never been in the town just to the outskirts. We were originally looking at Westerville but this opportunity presented itself so we took it.

Well just to give everyone a heads up, I live about 20 minutes away from the GM plant that made the Cavalier/Sunfire ( and now makes the Cobalt, soon to be making the Cruze ). So All of my cars upto the Celica were all Chevy's, and mostly Cavaliers lol. I never had any major issues with them, and I still consider them to be good cars, but it was time to break away from the norm haha.
So having said that, here we go...
First: 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier Sedan - 2.2L - Automatic
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/1.jpg
Second: 1993 Chevrolet Beretta GT - 3.1L - Automatic
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/2.jpg
Third: 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 - 2.4L - 5 Speed
( on the right )
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/3.jpg
Fourth: 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 - 2.4L - 5 Speed
( on the left )
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/4.jpg
Fifth: 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 - 2.4L - 5 Speed
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/5_1.jpg
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/5_2.jpg
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/5_3.jpg
Sixth: 2001 Toyota Celica GT-S - 1.8L Supercharged - 6 Speed
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/6_1.jpg
http://ahfunaki.com/historyofcars/6_2.jpg
And that pretty much sums it up. I've had a couple winter beaters too, since neither the 97 Cavalier nor the Celica get driven in the winter, but they aren't primary cars so I don't count them...
Hope everyone enjoyed my GM fest...haha

2. 1993 Toyota Celica - 19-21
3. 2003 Toyota Celica - 21-now
4. 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Mar 21- now
Man, looking at your cars guys, i think i am gonna rock the night with some crappy cars...:
1. Moskvich Aleko /don't remember engine/ 17-18 y.o.
2. Lada Niva 18 years old - present
3. Daewoo Espero /1800cc 100hp/ 18-19 - sold because was too damn old already
4. Huindai Atos Prime /1000cc - ? maybe 60 ? hp/ - 18 y.o.
5. Peugeot 206 - 18 y.o.
6. Land Rover Freelander1 / 2000cc Turbo diesel / - 19-now - custom desert edition /factory suspension mods/
7. Toyota Celica 1zz-fe 6spd manual 19-now
8. Land Rover Freelander2 / STD4 / - 21-now
9. Nissan Pathfinder 2.0 diesel - 21-now
10. BMW 650 - 21 y.o.
11. Mazda RX-8 - 20 y.o.
In order of favouring:
1. Celica (love of my life)
2. RX-8 (great weekend car but a CRAP LOAD for everyday use)
3. Freelander2 (The Transporter. I like almost everything about that car. But it has one HUGE drawback - it's an SUV... And i don't quite like those)
4. Pathfinder (Same as the freelander ... but besides the drawback being a SUV there is one even bigger one... its ugly as hell)
5. Aleko and Espero (If anything ever made me a driver - those were the reasons... If you can't drive, i can guarantee you a painful death in maximum 10 hours of driving either one. The aleko is, as i often joke, a light-version of a fighting tank, and the espero... meh... the only thing working in this car was the starter and the engine. And sometimes the steering.)
6. Huinday (a city matchbox. I have nothing else to say)
7. Freelander1 (great off-road abilities but the scariest thing on the asphalt... Tried to kill me 4 times. For my sake - it didn't succeeded. Awful brakes. Awful acceleration. Awful suspension for the road. Awful response on the steering... But i still have my good memories with it)
8. Peugeot 206 (screams a lot and nothing happens, but all in all - a good city car. Great brakes though...)
9. Lada Niva (good offroader but a suicide machine on the road (it doesn't matter city or interstate road))
10. BMW (I liked that car when we brought it home. Then i hated everything about it. The worst car in that list, hands down.)

I'm not going to dig mine up again. What I currently have in sig covers the current ones, with my very first car still there.

I was 17 when I get my license and for a month I drove a 94 Chevy Corsica. After that month my boyfriend signed for my celica and that's where I sit now. I've had it since then and it's coming close to me sadly getting rid of it : (. I don't know if I'll keep it for a DD when I get my new car, or just sell it to mod the new car when it gets here.
