I do, and its the ****. Worth the money. I even like how they changed the launch control to TPS vs RPM so it wont activate unless you really mean it.

how do you like it are you running it now? did you upgrade from 2.5? how much did it cost you. I am asking all this questions because I am running 2.5

I was running 2.5 and now I am running 2.6 it costs a 150 for them to upgrade and they upgrade the map inside the magical box. Its a little wierd to get used to but after the initial shock its way better.

so do I have to retune everything again?
or does my maps transfer over and I can safely run the car as it was before.
I thought they added more maps to it etc.. I am not 100% sure

No, your s20 files wont transfer over. There are a **** load more maps to use and a ton of more features

I heard that autotune on 2.5 works better than on 2.6
hold on so you saying if I upgrade to 2.6 I have to start from scratch tuning it again?
I am asking all this questions is becuase I am going turbo and I am not sure what to do, upgrade to 2.6 or use 2.5 that I have but add auto-tune feature to 2.5?

I dont use auto tune. Its a pain in the ass no matter what. What ever map you have stored in your hydra will be converted over to 2.6

how does auto tune work?

You set your target A/F ratio, set the RPMs you want to tune and you drive the car around till the map is altered to your liking. requires their wide band and a lot of time.

talked to Andrew over at Hydra he said v2.7 coming out soon
the main thing about it is that you can only have specific controls that you need
so if you dont use certain feature you can opt out.
Basically 2.7 will be a bare bone and you can add feature to it as you wish.
and it will be firmware based so you dont have to send the hydra to them.

Out of topic question but, how did you guys hide the wires of pnp harness for hydra? Did you modify your ecu box? I'm having hard time with the wires.

well on the matrix the stock ecu is under the glove box compartment.
for celica you have it in the engine bay so I have no idea where you store the hydra
Jason might have an answer.

Hide the wires? That **** isnt gonna happen with out some serious modification. I did a battery relocate to the trunk and then strapped the ecu down to the battery tray and made a cover to hide the PNP harness

Thanks for the input! Maybe I'll modify the ecu box (extend it) to fit in the wires.

Good luck, tried that and it didnt work to well, your best bet is to just wire it in and loose the pnp harness

ok Jason
so when its cold out and really damp and rainy
on the stop light my rpm needle jumps up and down by about ~200-300rpm especially when my heater is on and wiper blades working.
what do I need to adjust in ISC settings to fix that needs bounce up and down and wont stabiles at 1000rpm idle. any trick to fix that? only happens when accessories are on etc..
I believe in PID Derivative needs to be adjusted?

Sounds like you have a ground problem. Either the ECU or a sensor is grounded near a high current accessory ground.

what sensor?

its an ignition trim that needs to be tweaked, not sure which one, has to do with air density

Jason do you happen to have a pic of the ecu location after the relocate of battery? I'll go with that route instead.. Modifying the ecu box is harder than I thought. Haha

I can as soon as i get it all back together, I cracked a piston on a 300hp shot and I am switching back to a 6 speed instead of my five speed I had built, should be next week some time.
