HELP~ Bottom Plastic Engine Cover

My bottom plastic engine cover keep falling off.
I guess it fell off last night... dayme it sounds so annoyin and im so embrassed when people look at me wierd.
it fell off 4 times + i jus went to da dealer 2 days ago n they fixed it.. now im so embrassed i can't even go out( July 4th) + all tha dealers in tampa is closed...
here is my question..
can i take them off? do i really need that cover for my engine?
I wanna go out~!!

All they probably did was replace the plastic tabs. This has happened to me twice also. I ripped mine off driving on the freeway. I went to toyota a month later to get it fixed under warranty. I shouldn't see why you couldn't do that also.
