planning on getting an 03 Celica GT 5spd with 26k miles, the price they got it for is $9950. gonna try lower it down to $8500 or $8k. it'll be my second ride beside my 08 Taco. wanted to get a GTS but it's hard to find one when you live in Honolulu,Hi. anyways my question is, is there any problem(s) that i have to be worried about in getting a Celica?

26k miles?
$9900?

Not a bad deal, especially with how expensive things usually are in Hawaii

I recently purchased a Celica and in all my looking (I searched the entire US), the only vehicles I found with that low of a mileage on them were either show cars (for $16,000+), or cars with a salvage title. Make sure you run a background check on that car before you buy it.

Not bad for an 03.

I recently bought a 2000 GT 5speed with 90k miles on it for 6000.

It's overall shape is pretty decent. It has a few dents and dings here and there from what looks to be someone opening a door on it, but theyre only noticeable from certain angles with light. Same goes with under the hood, everythings in pretty good working order.

Definitely run some kind of background check on it though. My dad works for a toyota dealer so I had him run the VIN through their computers at work before I went ahead and bought it. Usually a carfax report works as well, it's just not as detailed as a dealer's history.

All the kinks were supposed to be ironed out of the GT Celica by '03 so provided everything is legit (no rollback) and it's a clean title you should be fine with the car.

thats a damn good price guy. shouldn't have to look at anything. i bought my 04 with 35k on it and i haven't had a single problem yet.

but ive seen a 03 gts with only 33k on it. so its easily possible. that car wasn't f/s for very long....
