I got them today, the shop told me that the center ring of the rim is bigger than the ring on the celi (where the hubcap covers). I showed it to me and I saw it.. its quite a bit bigger...

Is that a problem??

they told me the rim might move a bit and make some noises...

u should pm j.c. he works for hotchkis celica. hotchkis celica now has the o.z. superleggeras on their celica.

thanks, problem fixed. they found an adpater ring to make it fit snugly....

really? u got the 17X8's or the 18X7's? Did the adapter come w/ the rims?

I got 18X7. the adapter thingy didn't come with the rims. The guy who installed the rims put it on and let me see what he meant, and yeah the diameter of the ring on the rim is quite a big bigger than the stock one, so in effect, if you go over bumps it might move a bit causing some rattling... He also told me that it might possibly not happen too if the lugs are very carfully put on. But he found me a ring to make it fit better anyways. They charged me $10 canadian (about $6-7 US) per ring... so thats okay..
