what % tint should i get?

I want to tint my black celica

what % tint would you guys suggest?

I live in southern california and I don't want to get pulled over by cops for a fix it ticket. What percent would look good on a black celica but won't get me pulled over? I plan on tinting all 5 windows by the way.

If you don't want a ticket you need to check your local laws. Mine is 5% on the back 3 windows/front strip and 20% on the doors. BTW, I've had two tickets for it so fair warning.

y are they ticketing for tint. In MI i think its 30% thats all .. i think, not sure, but checking that out right now!!!!

For police, It is a safety risk for them. They want to be able to see what the driver or passenger is doing when he or she walks up to the car.

In VA if the cop is an ass, he will make you take it off right then and there. It happened to my cousin, cop drove him to a store, bought some razors, told him to peel off the tint and let him go, the next week, he put the tint back on......btw is 50% front and 35% rears here in Va.

Actually, it is, but you can't tint the front side windows at all in MI. Of course, the Celica is a two door, which means NO TINT on the the side windows, all you are allowed to legally tint is the rear window and the two little corner windows.

well fuk them, i dont care, i am tinting my windows, if i get a ticket, i will tear it up, well not really. lol. but i dont care, and if they tell me to take it off i can say no all i want, they did not pay for it so my opinion. To bad.

I'm tinting all my window's this summer too, MuleDoe. If you get pulled over and issued a fix it ticket you don't have to take the tint off. You have the option of paying a fine. For all thoes who have paid fix it ticket fines, how much is it for illegal tint in your area?

actually any window behind the driver can be tinted as dark as you like... but the windows to the sides of the driver and the windshield CANNOT be tinted to ANY percent. the strip on the windshield can only be tinted 6" from the top. any tint place should tell you whats legal or not before they do it.

i have my car tinted 15% all around with a 5% rear with a 8" 15% strip on the front. never been pulled over for them *knock on wood*
