Lot's of HID questions lately:o: here's mine:
What would be needed to have a 100% stock HID lights instaled in a celica without it? Cause I've had the aftermarket one and it's illegal here, had to take it off so now I'm thinking on instaling an OEM HID.
I guess -HID OEM lamps
-HID bulbs
-special harness of anykind?
-lamp sprinklers(?) (don't know if it's called that way in english:gap::gap::gap:)
-some module that is responsible for leveling the ligh beam??
anything else?

There is a thread in here where someone did a mod to inlcude a non-hid harness into an oe hid headlamp setup. otherwise, you will need:
HID Headlamps
HID ballasts/bulbs
HID wiring harness (engine room pass., and fuse harnesses)
HID fuse block (I believe I have an extra block)
HID Leveling switch (still trying to find one for a good price myself... I heard they retail for like $100+)
Other than that, its all plug n play!
I could be wrong, you may need more.
When I did the upgrade, I also converted from 00GT > 03GTS Setup, so maybe relay block under the dash???? IDK... half the fun is doing the work just to find out

man I didn't know it's that different than the normal lights. So just to be shure:

HID Headlamps would be ----81135
HID ballasts/bulbs -----81110L
HID wiring harness (engine room pass., and fuse harnesses) ---81125 (anything else or can I plug it to the existing cord?)
HID fuse block (I believe I have an extra block) -- you mean the fuse block in the cabin?
HID Leveling switch (still trying to find one for a good price myself... I heard they retail for like $100+) -- is it the 81108??

If you buy used ones, usually ballasts, internal housing wiring and bulbs are there.
Maybe you need to change your bulbs, get a new pair of Phillips D2S 85122. Corner bulbs, high etc are the same.
Search to find the two connectors that you must buy along with 8 wires that fit into these headlamp connectors, previous non HID wont do. I have given the part numbers many times on other threads.

I didnt follow- KAIZER
and I couldnt get your linkie to workie- OP
Fuse block = engine/relay fuse block, where you can pop the big engine relay top and look at the fuses. The differences between the two are an included location and fuse to plug existing HID wiring into, and trace through to the cabin firewall/which is the fuse engine wiring harness that should be replaced to include HID wiring for driver side HID headlamps and leveling switch... Leveling switch is on the dashboard.
any other q's?

If I get this right, he wants to install OEM HID. So I would suggest to buy a used set from the forums here, that usually comes with ballasts, bulbs and the wiring harness INSIDE the headlamp.
OEM HID have a different connector attached on the headlight with 4 pins, 2 for low and 2 for high beam. He MUST buy this connector along with 8 OEM toyota wires that only these will fit into this connector.
To connect to the cars harness I just bought 4 2-way AMP connectors from ebay, didnt need to do anything else.
If OP car is a GTS, leveling switch is already there. no need to do anything else...

um, I'm a bit confused now:gap: can you assume that you are trying to explain things to a complete dummy and try again?:gap: let's also use this picture: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_2000_TOYOTA_CELICA_ZZT230L-BLFGHW_8101.2.html
so what I understand is the part no 81125 is different in HID than in standard light but can it be connected with the rest of the cord like plug&play or does that cord needs to be swaped aswell?
and I totally do not get the part about the fuse block:confused: so the non HID block does not have an openind for HID fuse and do I have to change the whole block?
oh and most of the forum "for sale" threads are from US so i won't be buying from here, must find it on a local market;)

Check above, STICH. I cant get your link to work. If you would like me to explain in detail using a diagram, I would need one posted up. Then, not all GTS came with the leveling switch (in the US), only the Dash harness has the wiring loomed in... the actual switch itself still needs to plug into something. He would still need it to plug into his existing harness, if a GTS, SSII, what have you...
And as I said above, without modifying, using only OEM parts. Otherwise, search the threads. And Im not sure if Kaiser included in his setup an HID fuse, thats what the block is for.
So, get me a diagram, and whatever pics youre missing, i can furnish.
Thanks!

you mean this switch?http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/9650/dsc03901f.th.jpg (http://img257.imageshack.us/i/dsc03901f.jpg/)
if so I have it onboard
He would still need it to plug into his existing harness, if a GTS, SSII, what have you...
I have a GT but it's european so it may vary from the US version

No, thank you! for having the patience to explain those things although I still do not get the fuse part. But hell, I'm not going to instal it myself. I just want to know what to buy from a second hand market so that it will be possible to run those HIDs.
So getting back to that picture. the cord I was talking about (number 81125) it's for the HID version but will it plug&play with the other, non HID part?
Also I am wondering, what is the 81108 part? is this some kind of transformer for the HID? or is it something else?
And my last question is, by getting those parts included in the picture is all I have to do to run HIDs properly or is there more to it? (maybe those damn fuse things, i don't know realy:confused: )

ok i've read kaizer posts one more time and I got it now (stupid me x)
so I'll buy the lamps with ballasts, bulbs and wiring and I'll go to a good mechanic/electrician. I guess he should be able to do the rest. Thanks again for the help guys!

Question for me as well.
If I already have 6k HIDs on my car, cant I just change the headlamps only? Like I wouldnt need the wire harness or new ballats or bulbs or anything else or would I? Just unbolt the old lamps, put the bulbs in the new HID housing and bolt on right?
I would like to buy a set of the head lamps only to be on the cheap side. Any info?

^no, the halogen headlights take H7 bulbs. if you want to change the lamps to the OEM HID lamps then you will need to change the bulbs to D2's and get a D2's wire harness
