I was driving along hit something large in the road, some kind of screw/nail....anways, brought the car to TownFair Tire, and they did a patch job, the car now shakes at the wheel even after I had the patched tire re-balanced at Good Year out to zero. its the drivers side rear, good tires, they are the new Goodyear eagle F1s $600 for all four, What do I do????? its got to be the patch??? has this ever happened to you?

They probably half-assed it. Take it back and complain.

Have them recheck the tire, might have a bloat.

I've run over nails/screw/twisted piece of metal about the thickness of a pencil. I've had the tires patched every time with no problem. I'm not sure what to make out in your scenario.

It shouldnt have any problems if the patch was done properly.

The object was a good size, almost looked like a lugnut!! I am fairly sure they did a good job with the patch, they even filled in the hole but i had to use a razor blade to even it out....that says a lot right there about their quality of work. Now I am getting a pulsing in the steering wheel when i brake, im sure this is unrelated and need to redo the brakes ontop of this. I am not sure if I should upgrade the brakes at this point however...
