interest: PPE 3'' intake

I have a PPE 3 inch intake that im not sure im going to use since i might go with Boosteds PVC design instead. I paid about 200 for piping. This is all offers or bids. Thank you, here is a pic.

Urgh...I'm almost tempted...

If mine made 'bad' power with my supposedly bad air-filter arrangement, I'd have bought this off you, but I can't justify it just yet, seeing as my car runs pretty well with my straight design.

Bump for a good seller though. Only thing truely putting me off is the shipping to London. I actually miss the sound of having a CAI over an SRI.

I asked PPE to make this for me a few month ago because I got fed up of having a CAI. My car has running fine with this intake pipe and an ultra fine fine mesh as the filter, but then I do have bigger injectors.

This would probably suit the DD manifold guys as they would be able to get a proper cone filter on it, but it has fitted fine on my currenet set up.

Also this would be suited more to the F/I guys who want a bigger intake pipe to stop maxing their maf out etc.

Whichever way you want to use it, give me $100 and I'll ship it out to you.

FYI, I'm selling this purely to buy EMSRacer's CAI. I'll just live with the fear again for an extra few couple HP :chuckles:

I'm 90% sure the injen is CARB legal. The injen short ram I have on my 94 is, and the injen cai my friend had on his 240sx was too.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's carb legal. It needs to be certified by the California Air Recources Board (CARB) and given an Executive Order # to be carb legal.

Anyway, I just read the thread about the developement of these intakes today and I guess they absoultely won't work with the stock ECU. Unfortunately I won't have an upgraded ECU for a while so this won't work for me. Thanks anyway

i ran mine on stock ecu for a while and it worked fine, even better MPG, but not dare hit lift with it. And true i have no idea if its CARB legal, only PPE would know
