what year engine

i bought a Celina gt with a full gts swap done to it and i don't know how to tell what year the engine is. was there a difference between certain years or are they all the same. could someone please help me out so i know if i ever have to buy parts

as far as the gts years go, there is a difference in red line if I am remembering correctly. all but the 02 model redline is 8k, the 02 is factory 7600.
