...well toyota wont fix my engine because they said it was "driven hard." The motor blew last yr in August. they said if i mis shifted again they wont cover it. but this time i didnt mis shift, i just acclereated on freeway on ramp to catch up with traffic. then my engine started to bog, and my oil lamp came on. definate internal engine problem. this is entirely different and is NOT a mis shift, so now they are tryin to get me by sayin im driving it too hard. I RARELY ****ING DRIVE IT HARD. but the 1 time i do, look what happens! do i have a good case for arbitration? how can some of u guys out there NOS ur GTS motor and run fine, but when i drive 1st gear hard i break stuff? wtf!! how should i present my case?

The ECU will tell how hard it was driven, recorded in it's memory. If it was at the rev limiter and under you are OK. If you drove it passed that, you maybe SOL.

they usually tell me if its been over revved or not, and yes it wasnt past rev limiter

I thought you said you werent sure if you misshifted it a couple months ago? That could have been the cause of the problem. Just it happening at a later date? You can always try arbitration. Dunno if you will win the case though. Also if you do lose the arbitration case and you try to Lemon Law it. They can and most likly will use it against you.
