Hi,

I wanted to get some Lenso VPD rims, which I thought were available in Europe in white colour. My local distributor will tell me next week but they have advanced to me that probably VPD's in 17" and 5x100 are not made in white or at least not imported to Europe.

So in case I can't get white I was considering painting. Is it a good soultion? Where should I go to get my rims painted white, maybe a bodywork garage? And most important, is it likely that I get a good, factory-look finish?

Thanks

The paint really won't hold up very well, but don't worry, there is a perfect solution to your problem, POWDERCOAT.

Powdercoat is the finish that is applied by wheel manufacturer's, it is very durable. This is the finish that would come on the car if you were able to order them in white. You need to call around to find a place in your area that will powdercoat parts for you, I would suggest looking in the phone book, maybe under metal finishing or something. I would think that it would actually cost less to powdercoat than it would to pay a body shop to paint them.
