I hate too see it go, but I need a truck...
In the past, I just buy what I need and sell what I had when I can. Times have changed and I have to sell this car before I can buy the truck I want. Needless to say I am motivated.

2004 Toyota Celica GTS
1.8L VVTL-i
6 Speed Trans.
66K miles, still driving daily
35mpg
Factory HID Headlights with level control
Factory JBL Stereo
ToyoGaurd With Vin Etched Windows/paint sealant/undercoating
Factory TRD Action Package, this car shipped with the TRD pkg and it is all original. No crappy aftermarket.
16" Factory TRD wheels, these are the real deal Toyota made in japan wheels, not the crap made in China these days
JT1 Vin, Made in Japan, assembled in japan and shipped here. Sorry america, JT1 vins are more desirable than 4T1 vins.
The car is all stock other than:
Cold Air Intake, I have the stock setup also.
TRD Springs (factory part covered by warranty)
4500 miles ago, New Yoko S-Drive tires ($600 installed)
New pads up front, Rear pads measured at 7mm thick (10-15% used)

7 yr/100k Factory Toyota bumper to bumper Warranty
$13000

I am the second owner of the car. I bought it at the begining of this year. I planned to keep it for alot longer, that is why I just put awesome new rubber on it. Life has changed a little and I need a truck. So that is that...

The car is CLEAN, it is not perfect and anyone trying to sell you a 04-05 car claiming it is should let you know they are not being truthful.
Every body panel is original. No paint work. Every part is factory Toyota (IE, brake pads, cabin filter, oil filter etc... this car has only been dealer serviced.
I bought it with 53K out of the Tampa area. Every 3K it has got a oil change (Toyota filter and oil), Rotate and Bal tires and Alignment. There is always slow time in the shop :)
I did a EFI Service and A/C Refresh along with a new cabin Filter last oil change. I put a new drive belt tensioner on it under warranty because I heard they have a problem with them and I did not want to be a victim of the problem... lol gotta love that great warranty.
So, it is well serviced.

This car is Certified with the 'Wrap' coverage...
7yr/100K miles FACTORY TOYOTA WARRANTY!!!!
Ill explain.
The certified part means you get
Powertrain Warranty through Toyota, and any Toyota Dealer in the US/Canada for 7yr/100K. I work as a Tech for Toyota guys and this warranty is really good. It is the same as the factory warranty.

7yr 100k Roadside (Towing to nearest Toyota dealer FREE, Lockout/Gas/Flat FREE)

7yr/100k Rental Car Coverage. If anything happens and you car is in the shop, you drive a new Toyota Rental car, FREE.

If that wan not enough, every car I buy gets the MAC daddy add on warranty (remember, I have worked for a car dealer most of my adult working life):
I also bought the 'Wrap' Coverage
This extends the warranty to cover the whole car, like the bumper to bumper 3/36K warranty on a new car, but extends it to 7/100K, zero deduct. So everything is FREE.

Toyota Certified Site (http://www.toyotacertified.com/index.html)

This warranty CAN NOT BE BEAT. It is Factory Toyota warranty and is awesome. This adds ALOT of value to the car. Luckily I am going to pass on my good fortune to you!

This car will be on the lot at my work for sale also starting Saturday (Toyota Dealer).

I am sure there is some info I am leaving out, so I will edit this tomorrow with more pics.
Ask away with the questions!

These pics are before the TRD springs and new tires. I will post new pics tomorrow.

The first car dealer I ever worked at was Walser Toyota! I see your in MN, I assume the Twin City Metro area?

Question:

Do you have the OEM airbox to return the car to OEM condition?

What other 'MODS' does the car have? (and can they be reversed?)

DSMer
12-01-2009, 06:03 PM
Sorry, I missed your question. I have the OEM Airbox setup w/new Toyota airfilter, and it car be reinstalled or included for free, just ask.
The only other mod is the TRD Springs, and I have the originals.
Other than that, Every peice on this car is TMS Toyota, down to the oil drain plug gasket and oil itself.

I know this thread is pretty old, but I'm looking to buy a Celica, and yours looks perfect. I will be in Georgia this for the next three days, and if you see this soon enough, maybe we can set up an appt so I could check out the car. If it is still available, please let me know as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot.

DSMer
03-31-2010, 07:36 PM
LOL, been a while... Still for sale
It now has a brand new Trans From Toyota and a brand new Clutch/Pressure Plate/Release Bearing/Slave Cylinder... I also did a Coolant Flush (drained the block and the radiator while the trans was out). I put Toyota SLLC2 in so your are good for about another 100K. New Plugs and a new drivebelt.
I flushed all the brake fluid and clutch fluid so it is factory fresh new Toyota Fluid.
I flushed all the power steering fluid so it is factory fresh new Toyota Fluid.
I work at a Toyota Dealer, so only Toyota parts are used.
lol, did I mention this car is well maintained?
I have changed the oil 3 times since I posted this ad.
It has 73K now

DSMer
03-31-2010, 07:38 PM
That is a new Transmission (6 speed) + the clutch and all components.
Just to clarify...

I know it has been a awhile, but i am selling it again...

It has another brand new trans with about 500 miles in it. It is literly a BRAND NEW C60 trans from Toyota. Gotta love that Warranty!
I installed a new Toyota Clutch, Pressure Plate and Release bearing at the same time. I also had the flywheel resurfaced.
It was filled with Toyota 75/140 Synthetic Gear Oil and drained at 200 miles and refilled just to be anal.
Car has a New front and rear brake pads all around again, about 700 miles ago and new wipers.

BTW all work is done at the Toyota Dealer with Toyota Parts ONLY, have all recipts and most service show up on Carfax. I am a Toyota Tech.

Every 3K miles the oil is changed, the tires are roadforce balanced and the Alignment is check (usually needs no adjustment), I thisnk last time I tweaked the rear camber only.
I converted all my cars to Nitrogen Filled Tires so this on now has nitro in the tires.
The car is still under the Factory Toyota warranty!
$10500
GET A CLEAN CAR!

Pics taken this morning. I am going to try again and see if I get better pics about 6:30 or 7pm tonight, if I do I will replace these at that time:

I put (4) new Michelin Tires on it today, I measured them at 10/32nds. I straight-trac and road force balanced them and did a alignment (really just a check, no adjustment needed).
I also replaced the rear lift gate shocks under Warranty because they were getting slower to lift the rear hatch . Good thing it has a Warranty because they were $145 each plus labor!
I will change the oil in about 500 miles (every 3K) and that is it, needs nothing!
