Any plans of parting out?

I saw this posting on 6gc.net as well. You still looking for a possible alltrac trade? I may be willing to let my ST185, but wouldn't do plus cash. With how rare and clean the car is I think an even trade would be fair. Let me know what you think and I'll send some pictures.

I am VERY interested but I don't understand the pricing. I contacted you about this car and you said it was sold.

When you posted this up back in January [I thought it looked better then] you were ready to let it go for $10.5k. I see you've changed some things around but by and large the car is still how it was [doing a general comparision of the mids]...yet you're asking $13.5k.
The only thing I can refer to in resolving this is the installation of the engine and the tranny. Is this the reason for the price disparity? I don't think that adds value to the car. You've continued to use the car since orig. posting it for sale and it is this use that resulted in the changing of the engine and tranny...right?

$13.5 OBO [unless that OBO is down in the lower tier of $11k] is way out of my price range but I was just scratching my head and trying to do the math. The car still looks good but I thought it was complete when you first posted it for sale.

Will the trunk plastics and roll cage be installed and removed, respectively, upon request?

The reason I said that the car was sold is because I'm intending to keep it.
Then I realized that I need to swap the powertrain with a lower mileage and newer years so I get to enjoy the car more.
$1,600 for the 2zz of an 04 plus $1k for the labor plus tranny off an 02 plus southbend tz plus fidanza lwfw plus TRD thermostat plus Energy suspension motor mount inserts plus RETUNE (new setup, gotta retune).

It's pretty funny when you said that by changing the engine and tranny doesn't add up the value. It's a complete replacement, NOT rebuilt.

If you are trying to do a correct math, see my mod list and find out the price of each mod online and sum them all up and add it to my car value on KBB, you'll see that I'm loosing a sh*tload of money by putting it for sale at $13,5k.

BTW, the car looks a lot better now and a lot of people like the current setup then the past. The new setup on the front is much more expensive than the previous one and the wheels are much better looking. Not to mention the FFGT hood that I just installed and painted 2 weeks ago and the roll cage.

If it's out of your price range then there's nothing I can do. I won't drop the price for $2,5k since with the price as of now, I'm already losing a lot of money. Being OBO doesn't mean that I will drop the price by that much.
I'd rather part it out than selling it for $11k.

I will only sell the car AS IS, I can't remove anything out of the car because I don't want to.
The past is the past, the old thread had expired and this is the new deal.

I always say this to those who's interested in buying my car, "come and take a look, you'll like what you see and you'll appreciate the car even more than just looking at the picture on the website."
If it means that you have to fly down here, so be it. Airplane tickets are cheap nowadays.

Realistically mods don't add value, you have pretty much gutted the interior.

Already on a second engine and transmission.
