Car got keyed

Some jackass keyed my passenger side door on 4th of July. Why would anyone do such a crime? I felt like stringing someone my their nuts that day. But for now I need to get it fixed and would like to know if anyone has had a similar mishap and how did you get it fixed.

i got mine fixed a few weeks ago.
the total was 1200 bucks and they had to repaint half of the left side of the car.
they keyed in black pride into my car scratched up my window and keyed my door.
i had to pay 500 for the deductable.
im still mad and i cant do anything about it because i live in an apartment complex.

X-EVIL-X thanks for the info. How did your new paint job look? I have clear coat on mine. Can you tell a difference since paint tends to weather a little for time.

Yup, jelousy. Mine got keyed. I haven't fixed it as well. My car isn't even lowered, and I have the GT Rims, without the GT-S badge. Damn the haters.

Someone kicked my passenger side door in a few months ago. Havent had a chance to get it fixed yet, either.

Getting a car alarm might help but then again they're pretty pointless.
