View Full Version : Hotchkis Rear Camber Kit vs MWR SPC Camber Link Set
Hey Guys,
So i'm in the market for a rear camber kit and found 2 so far.
Hotchkis Rear Camber kit = around $300 shipped
MWR SPC Camber Link Set = around $200 shipped
Reason i want / need a rear camber kit is that i lowered the car around 2" and my rear tires are a little tilted in and i don't want the tires to wear un-evenly / have problems.
What are you're opinions on both kits? is there any other cheaper alternative to make my rear wheels sit flush again?
Thanks guys !

Not sure what shipping is, but this is a much better price.
Everyone I've ever talked to went with the Hotchkis kit. I didn't even know MWR had one until about...oh, five seconds ago. MWR is a good company, but for sure you can't go wrong with the Hotchkis kit.
$251 shipped to my address, not bad, but i was hoping to spend less than that :S but i will be saving the link if all else fails.

Damn, I figured I was going to have this problem too. I am lowered also and was looking into buying hotchkiss as well, but I have read in other threads that the factory adjustment was more than sufficient??
I assume you are running as much pos camber as you can in the rear?? what size rims??
i haven't really adjusted anything yet, nor got an alignment yet.
i got 17x8.5 all around +42 offset.

Your going to have to adjust the camber positively. Can post the manuals guide for adjustment if you would like.
please ^
i'm just wondering if i'll need to get an alignment every time i lower or raise the heigh of my car or adjust the camber links ( by hotchkis )

have you tried the stock rear camber adjustments first? i was lowered about 2.5 inches and the rear camber was way negative and wore out the tires real fast, then i got under the car and adjusted the camber all the way positive and they are about vertical now.

You're pretty lucky then. Most people I know who have lowered that far have needed camber links to correct it back to sane levels.
If you have a height adjustable suspension, the camber links are worth it as they simplify adjustments. Otherwise, you're right, the OP may want to see what he can get within the stock adjustment range.

how many degrees are you off? try to adjust stock first. if if doesn't work then buy a camber set

before you order anything from Intensepower call to make sure they have the items you want.
i ordered the RPS max clutch a few months ago, they took my money never shipped anything out. i got worried about 2 weeks after i placed the order, so i called and they were like oh we no longer have that clutch, and a bunch of bs i ended up asking for my money back.
not a good site to deal with.
