I think we should start planning our next meet....one of the things I thought would be fun would be going to an amusement park....theres several in the midwest to choose from, Six Flags: St Louis, Great America: Chicago....ok well those are the two that came to mind but I'm sure there are more....I've been to Cedar Point in Michigan and it has the most roller coasters in the county...nice place. Thats what I was thinking...if we plan a date and get enough people we may get a group discount!
I know that we are all car enthusiasts here, but sometimes it doesnt hurt to broaden out horizons to take in other forms of entertainment...such as at Jesse IL's place....
Anyways....lets get some other ideas going if you don't like this one, I'm anxious for another meet!

Cedar Point is in Ohio :p. There are some of us at TC.com and CC.com that are planning a meet at Cedar Point at the end of August.

Do you know an exact date...where are the forums you are talking about that are planning on going? how many celicas/imports are you expecting?

We haven't set an exact date. Some member of Teamcelica -> www.teamcelica.com and also Club Celica -> www.clubcelica.com
Nothing is concrete yet, but the topic has been mentioned. Tentative plan is to party up on Lake Erie all day and crash up there as well.

You could always go to Kings Island in Ohio too, that amusement park also has a water park.
Or plan a long road trip out to the South West. :)

perhaps we could just go around to all the major parks in the US! bringing Celicas to those regions that have none... Santa Celica!

Cedar points is the sh1ts! I was there last summer with my niece. After you ride the Millenium Force, all other roller coasters are lame.

ok, who is willing to go to Cedar Point? you guys wanna go with CC.com and TC.com...i think it would be fun...meeting more celica owners is always a ton of fun in my book!

So i think just a regular meet will be KooL....

if you cant afford $40 to spend a day riding tons of roller coasters and seeing lots of girls in halter tops then you need to get a second job! Cars, Coasters, Chics, and Cash....who needs more?

Werd, And im sure if there are enough ppl we could get a group discount. Six flags has nothing on cedar point. cedar point has something like 15 coasters, and they have soak city of course. I know I will be going for sure, just need a date that works for everyone

the dells would be a nice place to go.....noah's ark is americas largest water park.....that whole city is nothing but attractions...and they also have a casino there!!!

oooohhh can't go this weekend......i'm going up there the weekend after that....but no water parks for me....my boyfriend broke his hand in a fight at summerfest and hes too embarrased to wrap his cast in a plastic bag lol

Yeah he broke his hand...something about a boxer fracture...i dunno, does that sound right???? It was pretty interesting!! it was 2 "cliques" that don't get along and it's just this ongoing battle between them going on for 3 years now....well anyways......i'm coming to AZ sometime in Sept or early Oct.....just let me know what works out for you Laren

As long as you guys make it on the weekend I'm in. I work for the Air Force on WPAFB, so I really can't just take a day off.... but my weekends are completely free. I just moved to the Ohio area from NY, so I would love to meet some local celi owners!
