Hollow knocking sounds from...

I keep getting these hollow knocking sounds coming from the front of my car. Well, it has been coming from the front struts of my coilover set-up for quite some time. I am thinking that the front struts are blown, but the car seems to still rebound just fine. It doesn't bounce all over the place like blown struts do. However, it is hard to tell if they are rebounding or if it is hitting the bumpstops considering it is so damn stiff anyways. Anybody got any clues as to how I can tell for sure?

check the pillowball mounts. they might need some tightening.

any chance you could post a vid of the sound??? coilovers make all sorts of noises haha, I had knocking sounds before which ended up being lose control arm bolts
