well im sure as some of you know this kid was trying to part out his car here.. so after a couple days of watching it i asked him about the engine becuase i needed a new one.. he gave me a fair price and all was well.. i would pm him for a couple days and he would return back in a very short time, then as soon as i gave him the money threw paypal, he didnt respond for like 2 or 3 days so im like wtf... i had his number tried callin him, textin him but nothing.. so at this point i was getting a little angry cause i didnt know what he was up to.. now mind you i paid him on the 23rd of october, and i just heard back from him about a week ago, and he said he was really busy blah blah blah. so i was like w.e just send the motor, so he said he sent it on monday via greyhound. i was like great can you give me a shipping number he said ya ill get it to you tonight, that didnt happen... that was monday, and everyday since then he said he is gonna give it to me and still noithing... so today i called paypal and asked what i should do and they said they dont even have
any tracking information for it, so they said try callin him one last time and if he doesnt respond in 24 hours they are gonna file a claim on him.. so thats were it stands now.. i would never ever ever ever and i repeat ever buy something for this kid again, i could have had my car up and running weeks ago if it wasnt for him... sorry for the long rant but i needed to let some steam off

dude, i was feeling he was shady awhile ago; so i never look into his car.
before he was parting it out; he was trying to sell his whole car.
he never confirm the actual milage on his ride; but he kept on tell me his motor have this many mile... etc
sorry that you going thru that crap.
i knew he was a bit shady.
Here is what he is going to tell you, as he did to others.
" i was willing to help you out and work things out with you, but see'ing that you made this thread about me and blaming for bla bla bla, you can help yourself "
he sent a ****ed up touchscreen to this guy in Bulgaria which didn't work, and basically told him to go **** himself.
Btw, did you know that the OCV needed cleaning from the engine you bought from him? because it had a CEL

it has a check engine light...
if you research thru his theard he posted... he been trying to sell his car. and he state the engine has problem.
what i would do, is call paypal right away, tell them you would like file a Claim, not a dispute, but a claim, they will freeze his account, tell them when you payed for it, what you payed for, and how much you payed and have not received anything, they will give him a week to send you a tracking number, if that doesn't happen, then they will deduct how ever much you payed him, and credit you that.
what i would also do, is call the greyhound station where he lives, and ask them if there was an engine that had been dropped off to be shipped via them, and from what i know, how in the hell can they load / unload an engine, and fit it on the sides of the bus?

you have to file a dispute first which i did, and paypal said they have "ways" of getting ahold of him so if that works then great but if he doesnt reply then i have to file a claim.
such a pain im so pissed

you people are amazing. first of all, my ocv stuff was fixed by me. there is no cel or nothing wrong with my engine. for the buyer, ill get you the tracking number today, if not ill refund you your damn money. rant and rave all you want, your motor is on the way. :shakeshead:

what i dont get is you have the time to come on here and write all this stuff but you cant pm me the number while ur on here.. that is why im concerned.. i dont want this thread to turn into a bash fest.. ALL i want is a tracking number so i know for a fact that you did ship it out and all will be well.. its bad enough i had to wait almost a month but thats not the problem i can wait as long as i know its coming.. this entire week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday every single day you have told me you will get the number to me by that night but you never do.. yes i know you said you were busy with school and such and i can understand that but really how hard is it to come on this forum and type in a tracking number and send it.. it might take 3 minutes max. enough said

Last time dude tried to sell me his car and so i got my buddies to come down to check it out and give him the deposit money, dude gave us some fake ass address and # . And dude didnt have the title for his car, he kept telling me i need to pay him first so he could pay the bank and have it sent to me...Lol...

^^ after the info you gave me i decided to request him as a friend on facebook and for some odd reason he accepted.. so im jus blowin his shltt up until he responds back... i have been calling him on average of 20 times a day and texting him numerous times. but he doesnt answer.. so claim has been made threw paypal and i told him he can have fun dealing with them... if anyone else would like to join in on the fun here ya go

^^i no... paypal told me the only money they could recovery me was the money in his account the day that i filed the claim.. so if he was smart he would have just takin it out as soon as i paid him, so im not counting on that... but the good news is i went threw my credit card company and they said they are doing an investigation on him and he could be charged with freud and could face some jail time.. so importfreak8 if your reading this Good luck! and dont drop the soap!

paypal emailed me last night and the said they were only able to recover $33 from him account. they said if i was due any additional funds which i am, they said they will do their best to get it back.. which is a bunch a of bs, they told me all they can do is ask him "nicely" to give it back they cant force him. sooooo gay

went to the bank last week, they are doing an investigation on him. they also contacted paypal to get all his information and what not. HSBC told me they are 99% sure they we be able to get my money back, but they said it could take up to 90 days. so im happy about that tho

idk but when i deal with paypal in situations like this, they usually get all my money back..especially if the seller never responded with a tracking number! or never responds to the claim at all, that gives them all right to refund you back... they usually take the money out his bank account or card, no matter if it makes him go negative or over their limit...

oh yeah word of advice or something i always do, if i dont receive anything in 2weeks or 2weeks and a half I immediately file a claim if im using paypal...because you will be sorry if that transaction you did end up meeting 45days and over...after that paypal will do nothing for you...happen to me before when I kept being too nice to a seller and kept on letting a seller tell me lies about he is about to ship something which never happen...

They will only refund a maximum of what was in the persons PayPal account at the time the outcome of the dispute was decided. If he has no money in his PayPal account, then nobody will be getting refunds. There are basically two options at this point.
1. If you paid via credit card, do a chargeback, then PayPal will be the ones screwed out of the cash.
2. Contact the proper authorities. You can contact the FBI internet crimes division, his local PD, the shipping company you used, your bank, and PayPal. Hopefully one of them may be able to help you. It's all a LOT of work however, and really isn't worth your time unless the transaction was for a considerable amount of money.
I too had a dealing with him. I bought a fender from him, and he sent the wrong side. He refunded me my money, and I agreed to send it back and PM him the amount shipping was and he would send me that amount via PayPal. Well, he made a few excuses and then decided to start ignoring me altogether.
A few weeks later I get a phone call from Greyhound letting me know I have a package waiting for me even though I wasn't expecting anything. Turns out he never picked up the fender and it got sent back. I had the option of leaving it there, or paying the $40 return shipping charge an picking it up. I figured I can't go wrong with a spare fender for $40.
