I plan on building up my celi's engine first and eventually putting a turbo kit on her. So I'm just asking in your all's opinion what some really good turbo kits. I guess I should add I would like to make about 280-300hp

And what year Celica, what engine are you running, and whats your budget. For a motor rebuild to handle that power safely, and then the turbokit itself you will be lookin at over 10 grand.
$4500 for a turbokits.com kit with GT2871R and Apexi power FC
$1700 for rods, pistons, and sleeves. (think thats what I spent)
Then ya gotta figure in all the ARP bolts and studs (to do it right) plus engine gasket kit and other miscelanious parts like fuel pump, rail, FPR. So lets just say another 1000 right there
Then if you wanna build the head up your looking at another 1500-2500 depending on how far you wanna go.
Now ya gotta pay for all the labor involved in machening, installing, and tunning. Lets say about... $4000
Oh and now ya gotta get a clutch, guages, and some more random pieces to run everything properly...
So your grand total would be roughly 13200 all said and done. But thats if ya got a 1zz like myself. If you got a 2zz then you aint gotta do all the head work, so just subtract all that... lol and your still at 10 grand.
Help any? lol

I have a 00 GTS, so I have the 2zz. I'll get the money to do everything, I was just wanting the opinions of the guys who already have turbo's and what brand they think are best in the quality aspect. So yes that helps, thanks.

Well with a full build the turbokits.com kit will get you to your goals. But the MWR kit is much better quality and has the potiential to go above and beyond the 500whp mark, due to the equal length turbo manifold, and bigger turbo options that all use a tial exhaust housing. But your gonna spend about 1-2 grand more on it. And that comparing a turbokit from tk.com with all the upgrades to a base MWR kit.
