Installing amp via front speakers

Ok....Im hooking up an amp to my stock HU via the front speaker wires (because I dont want to take apart the rear section to get at the rear speakers). So my question is, which wires do I tap into? (What colors?). Also where abouts can I do it? Do I have to tap into the wires RIGHT behind the HU or is there a better/easier spot to tap into?

1 more thing...what have you guys done to secure your sub box in the trunk?

Sorrry, its a GT with 6 speakers...

I would assume that the wires split right behind the head unit and go in opposite directions from there to the doors. So it will probably be easiest to do it there. Not positive thought I have never looked behind a GT 6 speaker radio.

well, what are you trying to do? keep all stock speakers and radio and wire the amp for the subs?
