Ok, here I am trying to install the beat rush underpanel and I cannot figure out how to get the driver's side control arm bolt out that they ask you to remove. The transmission is in the way of getting any ratchet or socket in there. I mean you could use a crescent wrench but how in the world do I torque it back down to the right specs since I know for sure that the torque wrench is not going to fit in there.

no need to remove the bolt all the way.
just enough so the brackets will slip in.
good luck

I just used a breaker bar with an extension on jack stands.

^^^How did you make sure that it was tightened back down enough?

Oh, forgot to answer your other question.
I would tighten the bolt until it doesn't move anymore. Drive it around a bit, then go back and retighten.
I failed to retighten the bolt after some driving and...yea, no bueno :thumbdown

Oh yeah, what happened? Did you catch it in time or did it have some other negative effect?

I had this happen to the rear control arm. The bolt on the back of the thread just disappeared one day. I was driving and I heard a loud bang, luckily the control arm its self was still in just pressed up against the outside of the frame. I dunno how to describe it. However the front control arm bolt would be hard pressed to fall out. I have the cusco bar and beatrush underpanel behind my bolt and nothing has happened as of yet.

I drove around with it a bit and when I was on the freeway it would suddenly pull to the right (the side with the loose bolt).
Super sketchy. Almost got into a few accidents.
