i have 18"s and im putting on an invader body kit in the next few weeks.

is this going to look goofy if the car is stock height ?

if i have to, ill save up for some lowering springs, but im not going to have the money for struts.

anyone have the invader kit and know how low they can get it without rubbing all over the ground?

i live in New Orleans and we have some of the worst streets in the country after the hurricane. Also, it tends to flood a good bit and i dont want to get water in my car. :/

advice ?

it will look silly at stock height, if you put tein s techs on stock shocks they should hold up just fine and it will be a little over an inch lower which will look better. the invader kit is the generic name for the veilside kit if im not mistaken and you should be ok i think. just park on a hill when it rains too:gap:

There are no hills.. Hahahah

That's the problem. And that's why my car has flooded before, at stock height!

Haha, Louisiana sucks. I'm so scared of lowering my car because of the ****ty roads everywhere. I can't drive 1 mile without a series of potholes or uneven roads or 10 miles without some kind of torn up road construction.

Hahaha yeah no kidding. Baton Rouge especially with construction. Where I am staying up here there is a constant dust cloud and the road has been rocks since October...
Ridiculous.

lol i just put the veilside front and rear on and i kept it at stock height, looked weird, than i added the kam skirts and it was a lil better but the rear seemd a lil high =\ than add on an extra inch of height with the 18's from a 16 and it would look like a 4x4... myn kinda does already with only 16's... im adding a set of 18's and selling my tien basics and getting a set of SS and lowering it just so the wheel gap is nice but keeping it high enough cuz i too have crappy roads and alot of loose stone so i dont want the lip all chiped up...

ik hombre has 2 shots of his car with 18's and the kit i just bought on, before and after the drop... looks much better =] ill see if i can find it
