Someone help my friend out! She's a girl!!!

Well i'm actually asking for a friend, but i figure this is a car forum, so you guys'll have more knowledge in this.

So anyway, my friend was going to back out of some parking space, and some SUV backed into her. My friend, being inexperienced, paniced, and was really pissed, so she started cussing and long story short, she didn't get the insurance, nor the license plate, she glimpsed at the driver's license. And the driver gave her a phone number, which she claims is a cell, but it's NOT a cell, and when you call the number, no one picks up, after like 500000 rings. 411 claims it's a cell number, but we know it's not because all it is is "unpublished". So anyway, my friend was in such a frenzy that she can't even read the person's name in her own handwriting. But she can make it out. So basically, the lady never called her back, and she's been trying to contact the other lady but haven't gotten any luck. So anyway this is the only information we have.

Btw this was in arcadia.

The name is either:
Angela Anquli
Angela Anguzi
Angela Anguli
Angela Anquzi

Driving a newer model
White Ford Explorer XLT with a silver bumper
License plate started with a 4 (yea yea it doesn't help much)

And the phone number she gave was
(626) 446-4411

It seems kinda fake with the "4411" but we've called it kept ringing. The lady however said it was a cell number, but we know for a fact that it isn't, because cell phone's will have a voice mail within 4 rings, and a "446" is an arcadia phone number. So either the lady made it up and my friend's screwed, or, she gave us her fax line or something.

I've tried using google and a buncha search engines for the different names, and the phone number and no luck. My friend's called the phone company, told them we REALLY needed the name, but they're still not allowed to give us "undisclosed information". We've contacted the cops but they don't give a crap for such a "minor" accident. Oh and it left a dent in her rear fender/quarterpanel/bumper area, some body shop claims 2000 bucks for a repair but i told her she's gettin ripped off there too. Camry btw.

So yea, if anyone can help my friend out with any information it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

yea it was pretty stupid but i'm not gonna go rub it in her face. She knows what she did wrong, she's been bitched at by her family already.

She can try getting her insurance company involved, If she has comprehensive and a good agent. They have many different avenues for finding people.

ludatic.......ok, this is what's going to happend......this is a exact same thing that happend to me last summer......i was turning on to my block when this guy from no where hit me.....so we drove to my house(which was 3 houses away from the sceen).....and i got out the car to look at the damage....as i walk'd inside the house to call 911......he took off.....when i came out side....he already bounced......so a couple of days after the thing....i saw him on the road and i got the plate #.....and gave the # to insurence....my insurence said that it is hard for them to pin it on him cuz i don't have any proff(pics, witness..ect) of the damage on his car......so basically.....my insurence had to pay for the damages on my car and my insurence went HIGH!!....i wish i could have follow'd him and took some pics of his car when he parked or something.....so this way i have proof.....tell ur friend, if she ever sees that person again.....get some picz of the suv and the damage to suv

Hit and run is a felony...why didn't you call the cops and give them the plate?

It sounds like she is pretty much screwed unless she see's this person on the road again. This happend to a friend of mine this guy in a mustang hit his bumper and ran. He saw him on the road again followed him where ever he was going and beat the crap out of him, I wouldn't recomend beating the person up in the explorer but get pics instead. Although my friend said it felt good beating the crap out of the ass that hit him.

it wasn't exactly a hit n run, she just didn't get the information on he own part.. and she herself is not insured unfortunately.

when i looked at the other guys car.....i didn't look too much at the plates....i just looked at the damage to his car....then i went inside to call the cops.....then that's when he bounced......:(

Arcadia is the city where it happened, the phone number begins with a 446, is also an arcadia phone number. zip code is 91006 or 91007
