How low can i go?

What is the legal maximum drop on a celica in California? In other words, how low can i go without being pulled over? I was thinking skunk2s (found some on craigslist) but didnt want to get pulled over and waste money buying it.

There is a certain height that the headlight must be from the ground. I think it was 22".

Cops really aren't sticklers for ride height, but if it's apparent that you can't go over anything on the road, then expect to be ticketed.

Skunk2 springs are low, but still manageable.

Yea i dnt think you should get harrassed from just springs i drove a 92 da slammed on coilovers for a while and never got pulled over, and i live in a cop infested area in so cal. but i sold it to revive my celi.

Cops dont measure ur height from the ground or license plate. The way a cop checks is if ur under legal height is by measuring the ground to the middle of the headlight. If ur under 23 Inches from the middle of ur head light ur are illegal and the celica has pretty big headlight so its not hard to make that requirement. I have my car pretty low and cops are not the problem as long as u drive normal but the problem is getting over dips and crap on the road.:marky:
