THIS SUCKS!!! MY CAR GOT REAR ENDED

Damn well yesterday on my way home from UCR, the traffic was so bad on the 91 fwy that i decided to take local home. BIG MISTAKE. While i was waiting at a red light, i was talking to my friend and the next thing i know, i'm being jolted foward. I was like WTF?!?! i get out and my rear bumper is hanging off the car and seeing parts of shattered glass from the front lights of the other car. Damn his car was all messed up and i dunno what kind of damage happened to my car. It was a pretty hard hit... it caused my moonroof cover to slide back to expose half the moonroof. Hopefully the guy's insurance is going to pay for everything, i mean he did rear end me. DAMN my poor celi. For you guys who have had experience, what usually happens in a case like this? can i get some other parts rather than stock? or am i limited as to what i can do for repairs. I was thinking about getting a kit, but now i need at LEAST a new rear bumper, so do you think if i paid the diff. i could get something else? Any information would help. Also what sucks now is my back is sore, but it didn't hurt too much when right after the accident. DAMN...

If you get a qoute on the cost of repair you can ask the insurance company to send you a check for the amount & then do what you want with the money. Also get a price on rental cars for the amount of time it will take to fix the car. Most insurance companies will cover this. If not just tell them you will get a lawyer.

well today i went to the doctor cause my back wouldn't stop hurting, the result was that i have whiplash on my lower spine and back so damn i'm going to have to go through this pain. Hey ICEMAN, what does the bumper look like? I'm trying to see if i can just pay the difference and get a kit put on my car. Anymore information would be helpful.
