just got to try to knock those pins out, drill them out if the penetrant doesn't do the job

uh.. you don't need to "open" up the calipers.

Are you implying that the caliper bolts won't come off?

All you need is to push back the piston enough to fit back over the rotor when you install the new brake pads.

make sure the bleeder valve is open when pushing the piston back in or if you can get the caliper off, just coat it with liquid wrench

if the pins are stuck then i used a small diameter steel punch with a flat face and hammer to knock them out with the calipers unbolted. you can also grab them with vice grips from the front to get them moving a little then just turn and wiggle them out. my brake pads were seized to the slide pins. i wish someone made stainless ones!

if the bleeder is seized then...well if it breaks you gotta get new caliper. just as well, the seals do wear. good luck!

Yea, the dam pins were stuck. I got some PB and sprayed it on and finally got them loose. Had to pound the shiet out of them but it worked. But now I have new problems, one of my wheel lug nut bolts broke off when I was putting the wheel back on and I think its the caliper bleeder screw that broke, but its the little screw on top of the caliper, I tried to unscrew but it was stuck so the top broke off, dam im pissed.

get a reman caliper and to do the stud you need to take it all apart again (caliper and rotor off), then a good hard hit with a hammer to drive out the stud. then you put a new stud through the backside and use your lugnut and some spacers (washers work) to draw the stud into place in the hub.

having not done one on a celica (and i hope i never do), i don't know if you can sneak them in or not. you may need to take the hub bearing off the car to do this.
