they dont last too long. ~10k miles. So, if its a DD, I wouldnt do it, not very cost effective. If your car is just a toy, these tires are awesome. I had em till I upgraded to P-Corsa System.

I also dont know your location, but the pirelli p-zero nero/rosso hold up like the Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa, if you ride your bike much. With the Rosso being more water/cold friendly. Wouldn't recommend em for snow.

it is a DD and I drive 20,000 miles a year easily...I guess I'll continue my search for good all season tires

Look for something in the 40-60k warrantied area... they will suit you well. I always recommend discount tire cuz you can get the tires warrantied also against punctures and free rotations... Excellent for DD

soto zero are more of a performance winter tire... not to great in deep snow. i dont know where you live but winter carving are awsome in deep snow and not to shabby on pavment! pirelli down side is that they wear quick and i find the sidewalls a little soft imo... i've owned both!

but if your looking for the ultimate in winter tire i strongly recommend Nokian Hakkapeliitta they are by far the best winter tires i"ve ever owned!!!

After reading this, I bought a set of the Dunlop DWS for my girlfriends car. I have snow tires for the celica.

Pirellis are overpriced crap.

Falken RT615, Kumho Ecsta XS, Sumitomo HTR Z-III, Dunlop Direzza Star Specs - those are incredible tires for half the price, and they'll outperform the Pirelli.
