I would really be interested in something like this.. Does anyone else sell this item?

Kinda similar to the 1996 25th Anniversary edition Celica seats

i remembered trying to order something from that site, the TRD Elegant front lip. they told me that they had to call Toyota Japan or something and they'll let me know in about a week. so they called back saying there where only 2 left and that was from japan and the price was around 600$plus not including the shipping, i was like damn i ain't gonna pay that much just for a lip. but i'm pretty if you want those seats they'll probably call japan or something cause i haven't seen those before. just give them a call and ask question about em

I really don't want to call them haha. Like Akita said... pricey for headrest covers.
I was wondering though if anyone had seen these before.
I mean... these are pretty cool in my opion and I really like the "Celica" brand.
The 7th generation Celica doesn't include the "Celica"ness like other Celicas did in the past.
I think this would be an awesome addition.

Anyone else have any similar ideas?

looks like you can take the gts leather seat covers off, have a upholstery shop strip the bottom off and embroider celica on it.

Strip what off exactly? The leather?

Okay, I see what the both of you are saying now... but that isn't what I want.
I have leather seats and I want to keep the all leather I have.

Also, you can't take the leather off without putting something else over it, it is just foam underneath.

Anyway, I would just place that cover, or something similar to it over my current leather seat.
Probably though, I would do what bionictony said to do, take it to an embroidery shop and just have them put Celica on the seat.. except keep all the leather.
I don't want to chop my seats.

Did I get what you both were saying?

It's just foam underneath. Just go to an upholstery shop with your seat and that picture and they can make something like that for you. I'm sure it won't cost much in materials.

It's just foam underneath.

That's exactly what I said.
But I probably will take it to an upholstery shop to see.

Has no one done this before.. I'm shocked.

Wow. He means to get an extra set of leather seat covers and do this with them.

i meant to take a different pair of gts leather seats from another car. used seats go for less than 600 for sure.

Yeah.. 600 for this mod.. nah.

But, I will take it to a shop and I'll let you all know the outcome.
Hopefully I'll get fresh darker tint around the same time.

I'd rather just take off the Leather seat cover, take it to an embroidery shop and have them put CELICA on the seat itself. It would look better and be more cheaper.

Agreed... haha that's why I was seeing if anyone else knew anything about it.

I agree with that. Next week I will hopefully have enough time to take it to an embroidery shop I called. They can't quote me till they can see exactly what I want.
This poses a new question though. Should I go with the new CELICA style writing which is on our car,or should I do the cursive. I've always liked the cursive.

So, I went to a local embroidery store and they quoted me $80 bucks for doing our Celica's "CELICA" font on both my front seats.
That's honestly not that bad.
Most of the price was for digitizing "CELICA" because that is a logo and I can't find a font style that matches it directly... and trust me, I've searched.

I'll let you guys know what happens with it.
Probably won't be till after Christmas when I get it done

Where would you put it.

Above the gap in the seat or under it?

does that include the labor of taking the covers off and putting them back on?

Probably below the gap because that is easiest to see from outside the front of the car.

I personally would be taking the leather seat covers off the vehicle and putting them back on. So to answer your question, no that price does not include that labor.

Under the gap is better.

I know someone, that has it above the gap.

He has the Toyota logo in red there.

It's stays beautiful red for about 1 year, but turns dark because he sits with his head against it.

Under the gap it stays longer beautiful (on my seats, i've put celica there)
