My suggestion for how to plan a meet

HIN was a huge deal that Clone, myself, and Kevin spent a long time planning. Something like that won't happen again for a while probably. If you want to have a meet here are my suggestions:

Don't try to plan it. A few days before you want to do something, make a post saying "Hey, lets meet Friday night at (insert time) at (insert location). I wanna go check it out."

Try the shopping center where Dominick's is in Harwood Heights? Its at the corner of Barrington Rd. and Irving Park Rd. Its cool I've been there once before on my bike.

You'll never get a turnout like we did for HIN unless its HIN 2003. Just be happy with whoever you get.

What about that "Import Revolution" that's going to be at the McCormick in October sometime.

That could easily be as big.

I see what you're saying man, but we're just trying to put the word out to see how many people we can get. We're not expecting a turn out like you guys had for HIN. But you can't just drop a bomb on people a few days before you want to have a meet. You'll get the "If I had a little earlier notice, I may have been able to make it." response. People don't just sit around and wait for some one to say, "Hey, I'm going here. Who wants to tag along for a possible meet?"

I say promise alcohol, nudity and sexual acts. That will bring them in. :)
